What is Act-Belong-Commit?
Being active, having a sense of belonging and having a purpose in life all contribute to happiness and good mental health.
Act-Belong-Commit is a unique, evidence-based mental health promotion campaign applicable to the whole community. The campaign was created in Western Australia, and has expanded globally. It is now available in the Muswellbrook area.
Act-Belong-Commit is about promoting individual and community wellbeing, by increasing and strengthening connections between community members.
It is about participation in family, community and culture, through community events and organisations. It also aims to increase collaborations between community organisations that provide activities that can benefit our mental health and wellbeing.
